Based on the current timeline of the COVID-19 vaccine rollout in Manitoba, we are optimistically preparing for the return of in-person programming on UWinnipeg’s campus for the 2021 Fall Term. Planning is underway to accommodate this exciting possibility.
Decisions related to our re-opening will be aligned with public health guidance so that we may continue to safeguard the wellbeing of the UWinnipeg community. That means our plans for the 2021-22 academic year will evolve along with new health information and we will be adaptable if required.
A safe return to campus will be enabled by the protection of Manitobans through the province’s vaccination campaign. Learn more about the vaccines and vaccination program here.
More information on Fall 2021 will be shared in the days and weeks to come.
We look forward to the long-awaited resumption of the full UWinnipeg experience: classroom learning, hands-on research, collegial interaction, campus celebrations — and the unmistakable sense of community created by students, professors, and staff making real human connections.
