The University of Winnipeg’s 128th Convocation ceremonies took place Thursday, June 11 and Friday, June 12. Degrees were conferred in Arts, Science, Business & Economics, Education, Kinesiology, Physical & Health Education, and Marriage & Family Therapy.
Helena Czaykowski, Isran Migane, and Alex Krykewich served as valedictorians. Honorary doctorates were bestowed upon Rhonda Elias-Penner, Marshall Rothstein, Barbara Bruce, and Charlotte Nolin. Staff and faculty awards were presented to Dr. Catherine Hunter, Randy White, Dr. Sheela Ramanna, Vesna Milosevic-Zdjelar, Dr. Darshani Kumaragamage, Dr. Laura Sokal, and Patty Wiens.
