A scholarship has been established at The University of Winnipeg in memory of Julia Romanow-Bear, daughter of Dr. Jacqueline Romanow, who teaches in UWinnipeg’s Department of Indigenous Studies.
The memorial scholarship will help Indigenous youth achieve the success for which Julia was surely destined. This is a scholarship for first-year students of Indigenous ancestry.
