Welcome back to The University of Winnipeg!
We’re happy to welcome faculty, staff, and students, as well as members of the community, back to campus for an exciting first week of the 2026 Fall Term.
With classes beginning Tuesday, September 8, the campus is alive again with student activity.
“There’s no better place than here, this vibrant campus in the heart of the city, to discover your passion and build the future you want,” said Dr. Jino Disatasio, UWinnipeg Interim President and Vice-Chancellor, in his welcome message to students. “This year, let’s lean in to what makes us uniquely UWinnipeg. Let’s be the community that cares about each other, our city, and the world around us.”
UWSA Block Party
From Tuesday, September 8 through Friday, September 11, the University of Winnipeg Students’ Association (UWSA) hosts its annual back-to-school event to celebrate the start of the school year. It’s a diverse and accessible gathering that includes events like the Exhibitor’s Fair, workshops, games, live music, and more. Learn more on the UWSA website.
