The Department of Theatre and Film announces the premier of Winnipeg Fringe Festival Venue #9 at Eckhardt Gramatte Hall. The Theatre Department is pleased to have been able to arrange this expansion of Fringe Festival support on campus. The campus community will now have a ‘home field’ advantage to the theatrical fare available.
Venue #9 – Eckhardt Gramatte Hall will operate as a full-time performance space hosting more than 70 shows featuring local, national and international talent from the start of the festival, Wednesday, July 16 through Sunday, July 27. Performance times vary. Please check the Fringe schedule for times and choices.
The Asper Centre for Theatre and Film, Venue #13, will again be hosting 30 performances. These two venues combined be offering over 100 performances during the 12 days of the festival here on campus.
Ticket prices are still a maximum of $10 per show and half the tickets are available at the door for each performance. Whether you plan to buy tickets in Advance online at Winnipeg Fringe Festival or try last minute at the door. Come out and be a part of the expanded success of the partnership between the Fringe and UWinnipeg.
