Sophia Lee, an alumna of The Collegiate at The University of Winnipeg, recently debuted as a soloist in the Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s production of Swan Lake. Lee, who graduated from The Collegiate in May 2009, earned high praise in a review that appeared in the March 6 edition of the Winnipeg Free Press.
“On behalf of everyone here at The Collegiate and the rest of UWinnipeg community, I’d like to extend congratulations to Sophia on this fantastic achievement,” said Rob Bend, Dean of The Collegiate. “We are all very proud and wish her much continued success.”
There are nearly 50 ballet students on campus this year, as all RWB Ballet Academic Program students go to The Collegiate for grades 9-12
