“Participating in the 2016 Pride Winnipeg Festival is key to creating a more inclusive, safe and respectful place to study, teach or work,” said Jarita Greyeyes, Acting Associate Vice-President, Indigenous Affairs, Manager, Wii Chiiwaakanak Learning Centre. “I’m proud to be a part of a university community where everyone belongs. I would like to encourage all people participating to bring their smiles and cheer to our UWinnipeg presence.”
If you cannot make it to the orientation you are invited to meet the UWinnipeg PROUD team at the Legislative grounds, at 11 AM on Sunday June 5. (Ask anyone with a clipboard where UWinnipeg is) and remember to bring a water bottle.
