Interactive publication highlights PACE programs, grads

UWinnipeg.PACE_.2013-2014.Viewbook-Web_Page_01The University of Winnipeg Professional, Applied and Continuing Education (PACE) has launched a new interactive print online magazine, using layer that includes video links and interesting alumni profiles.

Find out about Khal Shariff, CEO, Project White Card Inc, an award winning creative and technical talent and a graduate of UWinnipeg PACE Internet Systems Specialist Diploma program. Shariff believes his PACE education helped him land his work with NASA after the 12-month program that gave him the skills and the contacts to build a successful business.

Brigitte Burgoyne, PACE Public Relations and Marketing Management graduate now works for the multinational Cargill as a Communications Manager in Corporate Affairs. While in the program she completed her internship at the Canadian Wheat Board where she discovered an interest in agriculture, Canada’s largest and fastest growing industry.

PACE graduate Clandelle Johnston  completed the 8-month Police Preparation Diploma. She now feels armed with the skills she needs to succeed in her field with new insights in law enforcement thanks to a combination of excellent instructors and guest speakers. Johnston now has a better idea on her  career options.
