Plans for the 13th Annual Randy Kobes Undergraduate Research Symposium are underway, and this year’s event will take place on Wednesday, September 19.
This competition displays some of the excellent quality research by undergraduate students at The University of Winnipeg. It is a valuable opportunity for students to obtain experience in presentations of scientific research — especially if a student plans to continue with graduate work.
Cash prizes are awarded for the top three posters! Students can enter via the following email address (include student’s name and supervisor’s name): uwpostercontest@gmail.com.
Deadline to register is August 24.
Back by popular demand, a poster contest workshop will be held on August 1 from 12:30 – 1:20 pm in room 2M70. Students will receive expert advice to help sharpen their presentation skills, tips from experienced judges, and advice on how to create the most effectively poster possible.
