The “Elvis of Cultural Theory” and world-renowned philosopher, Slavoj Žižek, spoke to a full house at The University of Winnipeg on Thursday, April 18. Both humourous and controversial, Žižek, who is nicknamed “the most dangerous philosopher in the West,” did not disappoint the crowd. The lecture was followed by questions from students and a meet and greet with the popular philosopher.
UWinnipeg would like to thank everyone who came to the Axworthy Distinguished Lecture, and to all who generously contribute to make this series possible.
