Welcome to Fall Term!

Students relax on the campus lawn

Welcome back to The University of Winnipeg!

We’re happy to welcome faculty, staff, and students, as well as members of the community, back to campus for an exciting first week of the 2024 Fall Term.

Welcoming students back to campus

With classes beginning Tuesday, September 3, the campus is again alive with student activity. “Whether you’re new to UWinnipeg, or returning for another year, we’re so glad you’re a part of our university community,” said Dr. Todd Mondor, UWinnipeg President and Vice-Chancellor, in his welcome message to students. “This year will be an important part of your academic and personal journey – and I want you to know that our dedicated faculty and staff will be here to support your success every step of the way.”

UWSA Roll Call

On September 4 and 5, the University of Winnipeg Students’ Association (UWSA) hosts its annual back-to-school event to celebrate the start of the school year. It’s a diverse and accessible gathering that includes events like the Exhibitor’s Fair, workshops, games, live music, and more. Learn more on the UWSA website.
