The University of Winnipeg turns 40 and you’re invited to be part of UWinnipeg’s Homecoming & Reunion Weekend celebration September 13th -16th, 2007.
Graduates of UWinnipeg, The Collegiate and previous colleges –are all encouraged to come back home to their alma mater and relive what was, to many, the best years of their life. Homecoming will be a time to celebrate the University’s accomplishments over the past 40 years as well as a time to look forward to the continued success and exciting future of The University of Winnipeg.
Friendships, family and fun intertwine with nostalgia during UWinnipeg’s 40th birthday bash. A range of activities from campus tours to special 40th anniversary faculty lectures to the Eco-Kids Tent will appeal to individual and family interests. The weekend promises opportunities to reminisce with old friends and classmates and reconnect with favourite professors and fellow alumni from across the country and around the globe.
Special events and activities include the Gala Opening Reception, Alumni Artists’ exhibit, 36th Annual Great Rock Climb, Special Convocation, Great Winnipeg Social, Gala Dinner, President’s Brunch, Theatre Production of Hair and much more.
