Erica & Arnold Rogers Award for Research Excellence and Scholarship
The Office of the Vice-President (Research & Graduate Studies) is still accepting nominations for the Erica & Arnold Rogers Award for Research Excellence and Scholarship. This award is presented annually to an outstanding University of Winnipeg scholar. As is customary, the selection of the 2007 recipient of the Rogers Award will be made this Fall for presentation at the Autumn Convocation on October 21, 2007.
Nominations must be submitted to the Office of the Vice-President (Research and Graduate Studies), 4CM02, Library Mezzanine by April 18, 2007.
Consider nominating a colleague for this university award. Each nomination needs to present:
1) a description of the research/scholarship undertaken
2) an outline of its academic and social importance and
3) documentation supporting the national and international stature of the work.
Supporting material should be submitted with the nomination and include a record of published research, a grant history, reprints of publications, reviews of the scholar’s work, granting council evaluations, invitations to serve on editorial boards, an account of offices held in professional associations, copies of invitations to present at international conferences, information on citations and a curriculum vitae.
