The University of Winnipeg invites the community, media, and University of Winnipeg faculty, staff, and students to attend a celebratory reception on Tuesday, January 13. This event recognizes the appointment of Dr. Tom Carter as Canada Research Chair in Urban Change and Adaptation, and celebrates the opening of the new location of the Institute of Urban Studies. The event will be hosted by Alaa Abd-El-Aziz, Associate Vice-President (Research and Graduate Studies) and Jino Distasio, Acting Director of the Institute of Urban Studies.
