On Saturday, November 20 disability-rights activist Jim Derksen will visit The University of Winnipeg to discuss the culture of disability. What does it mean to be disabled, and who decides? This and other important questions will be discussed in his presentation, “Finding Our Cultural Place: Explorations in the Construction of Disability.”
