Dr. Lloyd Axworthy, President and Vice-Chancellor of The University of Winnipeg, is one of seven distinguished Canadians to be appointed a 2007 Trudeau Foundation Mentor. The Trudeau Foundation made its latest round of mentors public yesterday.
Established in 2002, the Trudeau Foundation has granted close to 100 major awards, including Trudeau Fellowships to innovative and distinguished researchers and Trudeau Mentorships to outstanding professionals in the social sciences and humanities. Trudeau Mentors provide support and direction to fellowship recipients.
