Celebrating Canadian Heritage and History

As part of the Historica Fairs Program, The University of Winnipeg will host the Red River Regional Heritage Fair at the Duckworth Centre:

Public viewing of projects: 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
All are welcome to attend.

Students in Grades 4 to Senior 1 will gather at the University to share, explore, and expand their knowledge of Canadian heritage and history. From tabletop dioramas and performance pieces to written works and websites, student projects will span a wide variety of topics including Canadian heroes, legends, milestones, and achievements.

Students from 26 schools will be in attendance, with 190 projects to be displayed. Five exceptional students will be chosen at this event to represent Manitoba at the National Heritage Fair in Saskatoon, SK in July 2005.
