UWinnipeg’s community radio station CKUW needs your support. The CKUW Fundrive runs from Friday, Febrauary 8- 15, 2019. The Fundrive celebrates the diverse programming and community of local volunteers that broadcast on 95.9FM. This year’s goal is to raise $60,000.
Since the station’s FM launch in 1999, listeners have donated more than $600,000 to Winnipeg’s ‘Downtown Underground’ radio. CKUW is ad free and doesn’t rely on any advertising for station funding. Listener donations keep the station community focused and independent.
CKUW is a registered non-profit corporation licenced for broadcasting by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC).
