WINNIPEG, MB – The Centre for Sustainable Transportation (CST) received an Excellence in Sustainability Award from The Manitoba Round Table for Sustainable Development.
“We are very honoured to be rewarded for our efforts to further sustainable development,” said CST Research Director Terry Zdan. “Our goal is to work with organizations and individuals to provide information, tools, and research they can use to achieve long-term sustainable transportation practices.”

This award recognizes the lasting contribution CST has made as an organization in promoting the principals and understanding of sustainability. This includes research on driver feedback systems, the transportation habits of children (Kids on the Move), and the development of an internationally recognized definition of sustainable transportation.
