UWinnipeg President & Vice-Chancellor Dr. Lloyd Axworthy welcomed Canadian Minister of Finance Jim Flaherty to campus Wednesday, December 2, 2009. Dr. Axworthy gave Minister Flaherty a walking tour of the new Science Complex and Richardson College for the Environment. Minister Flaherty then released the report entitled “Canada’s Economic Action Plan – Fourth Report to Canadians” before a packed house in Convocation Hall.
