PUBLIC LECTURE
This past year, the world was transfixed by quickly moving events that came to be known as “The Arab Spring.” Everyone is invited to a free public lecture on this topic on June 6, 2012.
The Inaugural El Tassi Lecture will be given by Professor Amr Abdalla, Vice Rector at the UN Affiliated University for Peace in Costa Rica.
He will be discussing “The Impact of Arab Spring on Terrorism and Democratization in the Middle East”.

ARAB SPRING COURSE
The University of Winnipeg Global College is also offering an intensive 6-day course entitled Impact of Arab Spring on Terrorism and Democratization in the Middle East – with a wide range of learning options: for a non-credit completion certificate or for 3 university credit hours; in person or online.
Classes start Monday, June 4 and finish Saturday, June 9, 2012.
Returning by popular demand, Prof. Amr Abdalla, Vice Rector, UN Affiliated University for Peace, in Costa Rica, will lecture in person in the TV classroom and will also be online. This is a senior level course but no prerequisite is required.
This course can also be audited for a Certificate of Completion from Global College.
