WINNIPEG, MB – Students who have completed their first year of University study have a lot of responsibilities away from school as well as at school itself. In recognition of this, The University of Winnipeg has made a $250,000 addition to its general bursary and general scholarship funds that is specifically earmarked for returning students in 2011-12 who have enough credits to be considered as second and third year students.

This extra funding will help to offset tuition costs and allows returning students to take an extra course and make even faster progress towards graduation.

Qualifying students will be primarily those eligible to register in Tiers 3 and 4 but all returning students who have completed at least a full first year of five full credits should apply.

Please contact the Awards and Financial Aid Office for more details about how to apply for this financial assistance.
