PACE celebrates class of 2025

The University of Winnipeg Professional, Applied and Continuing Education (PACE) proudly celebrates its 2025 graduation ceremony on October 16, 2025 at 1 p.m.. The event marks a significant milestone for hundreds of graduates, their families, and the PACE community, as students from across the globe crossed the stage to receive their credentials.

This year’s valedictorian is Augustine Udochukwu Usuwa (Advanced Business Management Program). Reflecting on the journey through PACE, Augustine notes the resilience, determination, and growth that defined the class of 2025, highlighting how the challenges faced along the way prepared them for success beyond the classroom.

Graduates from a wide range of programs—including Advanced Business Management (ABM), Artificial Intelligence (AI) Program, Educational Assistant (EA) Program, Human Resource Management (HRM) Program, Financial Management (FM) Program, Marketing Management (MM) Program, Network Security (NSD) Program, Predictive Analytics (PA) Program, Project Management (PM) Program, Public Relations and Strategic Communications (PRSC) Program, Supply Chain Management (SCM) Program, Web Application Development (WAD) Program, Digital and Social Media Marketing (DSMM) Certificate, and Mobile Application Development (MAD) Program —will be recognized for their achievements.

Several graduates will also be honoured with awards for outstanding accomplishments:

Kim Loeb, Executive Director of UWinnipeg PACE, reflected on the moment. “The PACE graduation ceremony is a celebration of the dedication and perseverance of our students, the commitment of our instructors, and the support of family and friends. The class of 2025 leaves with a strong foundation of knowledge, professional skills, and community that will guide them into the future.”

As these exceptional graduates embark on their professional journeys, they carry with them the knowledge, skills, and connections developed during their time at PACE. Their achievements serve as inspiration for current and future students, demonstrating what’s possible through dedication, hard work, and the right educational foundation.

The ceremony is a testament to UWinnipeg PACE’s continued recognition for outstanding graduate outcomes, with research showing that 92% of PACE graduates are employed, and 88% secure full-time positions. This success rate reflects the program’s effectiveness in bridging the gap between education and career readiness.
