The University of Winnipeg’s Orientation Week, held Aug. 29 to Sept. 2, was a huge success as first-year students took advantage of campus-wide activities including campus and library tours, information sessions, and free entainment.
Orientation Week culminated with “The Really Big Day” on Thursday, September 1. The Really Big Breakfast, sponsored by The University of Winnipeg Alumni Association, kicked off the day’s events.
Students also participated in information sessions—about everything from Aboriginal Student Services to Skills for Success—to help them survive and thrive their first year of studies.
