WINNIPEG, MB – The University of Winnipeg Collegiate junior varsity girls basketball team has advanced to the Provincial High School Basketball Championships.
The Wesmen will face the River East Kodiaks tonight at 5:30 pm in the Tec-Voc High School fieldhouse.
Two Impressive Victories
The Wesmen earned their way to the championship game with two impressive victories. First off, they won 62-43 over Kildonan East in the quarter-finals Friday and then followed up that victory with a 56-40 win over St. Mary’s in the semi-finals Saturday.
