WINNIPEG, MB – The University of Winnipeg’s Division of Continuing Education’s innovative brochure “Know 2006/2007” was recognized with a national marketing award by the Canadian Association of University Continuing Education (CAUCE), the professional association for continuing educators in universities across Canada. The Marketing Award, in the small brochure category, was presented to The University of Winnipeg’s Division of Continuing Education at the CAUCE national conference in Edmonton last spring.
“The dedication to, and passion for, life-long learning demonstrated by DCE administrators, staff and instructors is exemplified in this brochure,” said University of Winnipeg President & Vice-Chancellor Lloyd Axworthy. “In creating this award-winning brochure, the DCE team expertly marketed their programs, highlighted new academic opportunities between DCE and The University of Winnipeg’s degree-granting faculties and featured interesting student testimonials and their photos.”
In their comments, CAUCE judges noted that the brochure featured a “great theme, great photos and layout” and was “innovative.” They “loved” that real students were used in all of the photos.
