George Heshka
Members of The University of Winnipeg community are saddened by the passing of George Heshka, longtime principal at Sisler High School.
A well-known leader in the heart of Winnipeg’s north end, Heshka received an Honorary Doctor of Letters from UWinnipeg in 2013 to recognize his dedication to his students and community.
In honour of Heshka’s passing, campus flags will be flown at half-mast on the day of his memorial.
