The Duckworth Centre was filled to capacity on Saturday, March 23 for The University of Winnipeg’s Spring Pow Wow. In total, more than 40 First Nation, Métis, and Inuit graduates were honoured during the day.
The celebration started with Grand Entry and was followed by opening remarks from President and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Annette Trimbee, the honouring of graduates, drumming and dancing throughout the afternoon, and a feast and evening entertainment to close out the day.
