WINNIPEG, MB – The University of Winnipeg’s Faculty of Theology is having an Auction & Reception on Sun. Jan. 20 in Riddell Hall. Items previews begin at 6:00 pm with the awesome auction action starting at 7:30 pm.
The auction will include pews and light fixtures from the former Bryce Hall chapel, now named the Carl Ridd Sanctuary. The auction event is open to all public, faculty, staff and students who wish to bid.
Well-known Winnipeg price caller Bill Knight will serve as guest auctioneer for the evening. Fabulous fiddler Sierra Noble will entertain attendees with a performance at the evening’s fundraising event.
There is also an opportunity to purchase a plaque for one of the new chairs in memory of / or in honour of a loved one or a special occasion in the Carl Ridd Sanctuary for $500 to have a family name or member remembered.
All proceeds from the evening auction go to the restoration and continuous upkeep of the Ridd Sanctuary.
