Preparations are in full swing for the 103rd Grey Cup Festival in Winnipeg, November 25th to the 29th.

Details about the highly anticipated Festival were revealed today including the headliners for the 103rd Grey Cup Festival Concert Series, award winning Canadian artists Dallas Smith and The Sheepdogs.

The announcement of the Festival line-up took place at the University of Winnipeg’s Health & RecPlex, official site of the Grey Cup Festival’s MacDon Fan Experience & Family Zone, a free event where fans and families can experience the magic of this iconic Canadian event.

More than 10,000 visitors are anticipated to descend on the province for Grey Cup week to take part in the parties, entertainment, and the big game.

“We are excited to be announcing the Grey Cup Festival Events to the public,” said Jason Smith, President of the 103rd Grey Cup Festival.  “From the free Nissan Titan Street Festival to the Concert Series and the Monsanto Indoor Tailgate Party, there are events planned for everyone.”

In all, there will be 15 marquee events, both free and ticketed, during Festival week.

“We are honoured to host exciting Grey Cup Festivities on our campus and welcome families for a whole series of free events from concerts and pancake breakfasts to fun games inside our RecPlex, where our mission is to create a safe and inclusive place where inner city youth, new immigrants and other community members can learn, play and belong,” said Dr. Annette Trimbee, President and Vice-Chancellor, University of Winnipeg. “Our campus is a true community hub, and in November, we’ll be Grey Cup central.”
