At the annual Dragon Boat Races held September 10 and 11, 2005, UWinnipeg’s first ever dragon boat team raised over $3,000 for cancer care and research. More than 20 University of Winnipeg faculty and staff took part in the fundraiser, rowing their way to a respectable best time of 2:07 minutes. Congratulations to the team and to all those who helped raise money for this important cause!
