The Wii Chiiwaakanak Learning Centre has launched a Virtual Toy Drive, which is part of their annual Holiday Dinner. Every family with children 17 years old and younger will receive a gift and it’s expected that 120 gifts are needed to make the dinner a success.
UWinnipeg psychology and biology student Kerianne Chant has been working with Assiniboine Park Zoo to assess polar bear personalities. The results of this research will directly help the management of the polar bears at the zoo.
