Wii Chiiwaakanak Learning Centre is hosting its annual Indigenous STEAM Summer Camp during the last two weeks of July. Hosted on campus, activities combine Indigenous knowledge with other departments at the University, such as chemistry, physics, computer science, and biology.
Thanks to a $200,000 Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Partnership Development Grant, the ToyBox project, which aims to improve children’s numeracy, literacy, and wellness, is expanding outside of Manitoba.
