Dr. Andrew Weaver will present an intriguing lecture on global warming as part of The University of Winnipeg’s Bonnycastle Lecture Series.
Dr. Weaver is one of the world’s most respected climatologists. He is a professor and Canada Research Chair in Climate Modelling and Analysis at the University of Victoria. Time magazine honoured him in 2003 as one of the Top Five Canadian Scientists. He is one of the lead authors of the 2007 United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report: Physical Science Basis of Climate Change. This report will direct international policies related to global warming.
