WINNIPEG, MB – Media outlets are invited to the exciting annual University of Winnipeg GREAT ROCK CLIMB, Friday, September 10 from 12:30 to 1:30 PM, FRONT LAWN – PORTAGE COMMONS at 515 PORTAGE AVENUE.
The 39th Annual Great Rock Climb features teams of three who race down the front lawn of Wesley Hall and scale the giant 25-ton granite “Rock of Remembrance” that sits at the front of the campus.
Teams will try to break the 9.8-second record that has been in effect since 1979.
