More than 150 students, from elementary school to university, showcased 85 innovative Plan Your Winnipeg projects at a symposium sponsored by UWinnipeg’s Institute of Urban Studies and The Winnipeg Free Press.
From creating social change through community volunteerism to connecting the Exchange District and the adjacent Centennial neighbourhood with a green multi-functional building, students demonstrated their creativity, and often, their environmental sensibility.
