The Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame inducts Dr. Glen Bergeron a distinguished faculty member in the Gupta Faculty of Kinesiology and Applied Health at UWinnipeg.

Kirby Côté is one of Canada’s most decorated Paralympic swimmers. Between 2000 and 2008, she represented Canada at three Paralympic Games, winning seven gold and six silver medals. Kirby was inducted into Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame at a special event in Gatineau, Quebec in October.
UWinnipeg-affiliated athletic therapists led the Polyclinic Site at the Manitoba Summer Games. Michayla Esteves (BA 18) agreed to volunteer at the Manitoba Summer Games to gain organizational experience and promote the field of athletic therapy.
