UWinnipeg is hosting its first in-person Open House in three years on February 22.

For the first time since 2020, The University of Winnipeg is proud to once again be hosting an in-person Open House.

This annual event, which is taking place Wednesday, February 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Duckworth Centre, shows prospective students how they can achieve their academic dreams at UWinnipeg.

“This is an important time in your life. You’re juggling many competing priorities – finishing up high school and participating in extracurriculars, all while trying to decide who you want to be and what life you want to live,” said Dr. Todd Mondor, President and Vice-Chancellor. “Here at The University of Winnipeg, we want to help you figure out those next steps.”

Discovery Fair

During the Discovery Fair, students will be able to meet friendly representatives from UWinnipeg’s many academic programs and Student Services, get all the information needed to choose the academic journey that matches their goals, complete an application to UWinnipeg with in-person help from the Admissions Team, and be automatically entered for a chance to win a $5,000 first-year tuition credit and other great prizes.

There will also be tours every half hour that explore classrooms, labs, study spaces, the library, recreational facilities, and other spots on campus students will want to know about! Can’t attend in-person? Check out the video tour.

Virtual Open House Information Sessions

For those unable to attend in person, the University will be hosting Virtual Open House Information Sessions from Tuesday, February 21 to Thursday, February 23. During these sessions, prospective students will be able to connect with a Dean or other faculty members to learn more about specific programs.
