The Gryphon Trio performs the Mozart Piano Trios

as part of UWinnipeg's Virtuosi Concerts

The Gryphon Trio, founded in 1993, is a Juno award-winning ensemble and is one of North America’s premier chamber groups. Their recent recording of Mozart’s complete piano trios was hailed as “a new front-runner for the title of Best Trios set” (Gramophone, May 2006). The mozart&more festival, running April 30 – May 5, 2007 at The University of Winnipeg, showcases these inspired performances…and more!

The Mozart trios will be performed along with trios by Shostakovich, Rebecca Clarke and Frank Bridge. All mozart&more concerts take place in Eckhardt-Gramatté Hall (3rd Floor, Centennial Hall) at UWinnipeg.

Full festival passes, half festival passes and single tickets are available. Please call 204.786.9000 to reserve tickets or for more information.
