Welcome back to The University of Winnipeg!
We’re happy to welcome faculty, staff, and students, as well as members of the community, back to campus for an exciting first week of the 2025 Fall Term.
With classes beginning Tuesday, September 2, the campus is alive again with student activity.
“Whether you’re new to UWinnipeg, or returning for another year, we’re so glad you’re a part of our university community,” said Dr. Todd Mondor, UWinnipeg President and Vice-Chancellor, in his welcome message to students. “This year, I encourage you to embrace new opportunities as they come, whether that’s a research project, a new topic of study, or getting to know someone who could become a lifelong friend.”
UWSA Roll Call
From Wednesday, September 3 through Friday, September 5, the University of Winnipeg Students’ Association (UWSA) hosts its annual back-to-school event to celebrate the start of the school year. It’s a diverse and accessible gathering that includes events like the Exhibitor’s Fair, workshops, games, live music, and more. Learn more on the UWSA website.
